So…back with another Bath & Body Works review! This time on a shower gel…enjoy, everyone.
I got this in 2 different scents: Beautiful Day and Sea Island Cotton. Just so you know in advance, they’re both pretty much the exactly same in terms of how well it works. They just smell and look different.
Alright, so the shower gel has the consistency of any other regular shower gel, and it lathers up really well. ‘Beautiful Day’ smells floral with a hint of apple and ‘Sea Island Cotton’ smells like clean laundry (At least, in my opinion). The smell is quite strong, though, as with most Bath & Body Works products. It’ll still linger for a bit even after you’ve rinsed everything off.
I don’t find this shower gel particularly moisturizing or gentle, although it isn’t really drying, which is a good thing.
This gets your skin nice and clean and they have a lot of scents to choose from, so there’s probably something for every personality and mood. When they’re on sale (Which is often), they’re cheap enough that you can probably buy enough so that you have a different scent every day. Not that I really recommend having that many shower gels opened all at once, but I guess it’s your choice.
Anyways, that was my short review of these little shower gels from Bath & Body Works.
- Lathers up well
- Lots of scents
- Not drying
- Gets skin clean
- Can be bought for pretty cheap
- Strong scent
- Not particularly moisturizing or gentle
Overall rating: 8.5/10
Would I repurchase? Sure.
There’s not much that I ask for from shower gels, and this meets a lot of the criteria. Like I said before, there are a lot of scents (And there are always new ones coming out) and they’re on sale a lot, so I’ll probably buy them again in the future.
